UDUGU FEST is a place to come alive together

A summer gathering for gay, bi, trans & queer men to celebrate and meet one another through embodied exploration, creativity, shared presence and play.

Held at Amara Valley in the heart of summer, UDUGU FEST opens a wider field of encounter, where individuality is welcomed and collective experience is deeply honored.

Summer opens the body and loosens the edges.

Long days, warm nights, color, movement, skin meeting air, skin meeting skin. It’s a time when we naturally soften, become more playful, and feel more available to ourselves and to each other.

We chose this season intentionally, inviting us to meet the sun, the land, and one another with openness, curiosity, and a sense of adventure.

We’re not trying to build something impressive.

We’re trying to build something true.

UDUGU FEST was born from a growing need within our community.
Over time, UDUGU has created intimate spaces for connection, awareness, and healing.
As the community grew, so did the desire for something more expansive, where joy and depth meet, and self-expression can unfold freely.

This festival is simply our way of responding to that call.

A space to celebrate, experiment, express, and build something meaningful together.

ABOUT UDUGU

UDUGU is a growing project dedicated to creating intentional spaces for GBTQ men, from intimate retreats to gatherings and now, our first festival.

Rooted in years of shared experience and collaboration at Amara Valley, UDUGU FEST is a natural expansion of what we’ve been cultivating together: spaces where presence, connection, and self-expression can unfold with care.

Inspired by co-creative festival cultures and grounded in our own identity, UDUGU FEST offers an alternative, not in competition, but as an invitation to gather with honesty, love, and joy.

A space shaped by presence, curiosity, and shared experience.

THE VENUE

A FESTIVAL IN NATURE

AMARA VALLEY is a hidden space in the mountains, surrounded by green landscapes, open skies, and a quiet sense of depth that you feel as soon as you arrive.

Held by nature and shaped by years of intentional gatherings, this land has become a place where something special can happen. Here, a festival doesn’t feel separate from the environment, it comes alive with it.

Music moves through the valley, bodies move with the rhythm of the land, and moments of celebration naturally blend with stillness, connection, and rest.

From sunlit afternoons by the pool to nights under the open sky, every space invites you to relax, express, and connect more freely.

This is more than a location.

It’s part of the experience itself, and one of the reasons being here feels truly special.
